The artwork for the single 'Big Dig' by These Stains Are Who I Am combines the snake and boardroom with elements of some of my recent artwork - - Listen Now!

Ron’s artistic identity bridges two long-standing disciplines: painterly sensitivity and structural precision.

His early experience in oil painting cultivated a deep awareness of pigment behavior, opacity, and chromatic interaction. Later, his professional leadership in digital prepress transformation and security printing embedded discipline around color fidelity, reproducibility, and edge control.

These two worlds, intuitive painting and engineered precision, now converge in his abstract practice.

CREATIVE PRECISION

Pacific 97, a challenging stamp configuration , and a complex design. Ron combined hand-engraved art within the circles, created by Richard Baratz, with the triangular art I created in Adobe Illustrator and built the digital file for the film used to etch the Intaglio printing plates.

MAKING ART THE SIZE OF A POSTAGE STAMP

Ron's creativity was taking the source image and maintaining the original art and inspiration within a new context.

Ron's still has a lot of his grandfather's charcoals and tools. Passed down through his dad Joe, Ron never met Reginaldo Centra. All three worked with some of the same pieces and tools.
